Bubba Thurman, President
Bubba Thurman has over 30 years of experience in leadership development, motivational speaking, and team building. Bubba comes to Berkeys after spending the last 10 years serving as the Senior Vice President at Baker Brothers. His empowering presence of encouragement is an inspiration to those he serves. Bubba is committed to excellence, while staying focused on the core values of the business. He is a champion of culture, providing a pathway forward for those who are dedicated to being the best version of themselves. His gift of communication is second to none. He listens, speaks with empathy, and makes others feel valued. Bubba received his education at McNeese State University and Dallas Baptist University graduating with a degree in history. He also played baseball at McNeese State, where he served as team captain and was named an all-conference player. Bubba lives in the Heath area with his wife Amanda and is the proud father of 3 young adults.
Tren Nguyen, Retail Sales Program Manager
Tren, EPA Certified and born in Louisiana, joined the Berkeys team in 2012. With a 23-year career in the HVAC industry, he has served in every department, from installation to service. Throughout his tenure, Tren has prioritized honesty and integrity while addressing customers’ needs. Residing in Arlington, Tren spends his free time with his wife, and three children, and enjoys fishing. He is actively involved in the community, volunteering as a coach for his sons’ baseball team.
Mike Harris, Plumbing Operations Manager
Mike is a Master Plumber with over 27 years’ experience in the plumbing industry. Mike spent his early years in the industry honing his craft in the New Construction side of the industry. With a passion for serving others he began working for himself in the early 2000’s to allow himself the flexibility to travel to impoverished countries to serve others. In 2009 he joined a large service company and began managing and training younger plumbers and apprentices in the trade. Joined Berkeys in 2020 with a desire to lead a great group of managers and technicians in serving the Metroplex with Integrity, Respect and Honor.
Nick Martinez, Internal Operations Manager
Nick has been with Berkeys since 2019 and has nearly 20 years of customer service experience. Nick has a strong belief in customer engagement by way of transparency, accountability, and communication. Nick oversees the customer service representatives, dispatchers, membership specialist, and customer experience team. He has instilled a philosophy with his team of being “special” and not “ordinary” that means bucking the stigma of quick to take your money and slow to everything else. Nick lives in the north Fort Worth area and enjoys spending time with wife and daughter, going on vacations with them and sharing new experiences.
Dana Thomas, PHR, SHRM-CP, Director of IT, HR & Employee Services
Dana joined the Berkeys team in 2018 and brings 20+ years of HR Management, Organizational Development, Change Management and Mergers & Acquisitions experience. She is dedicated to innovation and to personal and professional growth. Dana possesses the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and the International Public Management Association for Human Resources Certified Professional (IPMA-HR) certification. She is also certified in Predictive Index and a member of Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). Dana has three children and she enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family, friends and church.
